A stunning three spired Gothic Cathedral in the heart of Cornwall.
Soaring above the surrounding rooftops, Truro Cathedral is located in the centre of this thriving Cornish city and wonderfully situated in the middle of the county of Cornwall. Designed by architect John Loughborough Pearson, it is one of only three cathedrals in the UK which has three spires. Completed in 1910 it is a magnificent example of gothic revival architecture. A must-see place to visit in Cornwall with free entry. For cathedral opening times please visit their website.
Along with its heritage, Truro Cathedral provides sacred space and common ground for all. Led by the Dean of Truro, The Very Rev’d Roger Bush, the cathedral team extends a warm welcome to people of all faiths. Open 365 days per year, the cathedral offers regular, daily services, in addition to special services, such as Nine Lessons and Carols, Truro Cathedral being this festival’s historical home.
The cathedral is at the heart of the Cornwall community and is a central hub for Truro events including arts, learning and Cornwall music. The esteemed Truro Cathedral Choir regularly perform concerts and sing at Truro Cathedral Services.
