Our Story
Cornish Cottages is a family-run company that originally started in 1985 before establishing itself as Mullion Cottages in 1996, providing self-catering services in Mullion on the Lizard Peninsula. The company earned an excellent reputation locally and soon began attracting properties further afield, eventually prompting the change of name to Cornish Cottages and offering services to the entire county. Still family-owned and operated, we proudly remain independent, committed to providing exceptional holiday accommodation throughout Cornwall.

"We love this part of country, this is our third time staying at a cottage, managed by Cornish Cottages. The position of the cottage meant we could easily travel around Cornwall and at end of day, know that we were returning to comfort (home form home). Pippins is an outstanding property which is well equipped, within easy reach of local amenities, including a pub, beach and local shops. Highlight of our stay was bell ringing practice on the Thursday night. We cannot fault Cornish Cottages or the keyholder of the property, all friendly and helpful. We would definitely revisit."

"Marconi’s Reach is a beautifully restored building with a fascinating history, lovely views to the coast, and it is in a great spot on the outskirts of Mullion, with short walks to Poldhu and Polurrian beaches along the cliff path. We had a fabulous stay, we were well hosted with helpful information before arrival and about the property and surroundings. This is a highly recommended cottage for a family break. We’ve not used Cornish Cottages before and this was an excellent service we’ll return to."
