Kerensa an Mor, Cornish for 'a love of the sea', is a beautifully appointed spacious house for a couple. The front facing windows all look out to sea and the living room is the perfect spot to sit and watch the world go by on the water below. A large picture window looks out across the sailing waters of the Carrick Roads, around to the East you can see the edge of Falmouth Docks and above it Pendennis Castle. Looking straight down through the buildings below you can see Arwenack Street, which is just a minute or two walk, filled with cafes, restaurants, shops and other eateries.

Entered from the front patio garden into the hallway. Step into the living room and you are greeted by the picture window which soaks up the sea view, comfortable sofas and an easy chair make this an easy space to relax of an evening. A large smart TV offers entertainment if you're able to take your eyes off the view. The wood burner adds warmth in the winter months and as such is not in use between April and October.

The lounge leads through to a dining area where bi fold doors open up to the rear patio garden letting the summer warmth flow through the house. A large table and chairs means there's space to entertain if you have friends in the area.

A large well-equipped kitchen is at the back of the house with plenty of space for making home cooked meals or having a quick breakfast on the island. The Aga is not in use from May to October (it's just too hot!) but there is an Aga style cooker with electric oven and gas hob instead. Fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. Separate utility area with washing machine and tumble drier, back door to rear patio.

Also on the ground floor is the en suite bedroom. The zip & link bed can be configured as a super king-size bed or separated into twin single beds - please advise preference when booking. For storage, there are bed side tables, a chest of drawers and a built-in wardrobe. The en suite shower room has a large enclosure with mixer shower, a toilet, handbasin and a heated towel rail as well as underfloor heating. The en suite can be accessed from both the bedroom and the hall - both doors can be locked when in use.

Upstairs there is a second bathroom and a snug/sitting area with sea views. The bathroom has a bath with shower over, a toilet, handbasin and heated towel rail. The snug has a sofa, TV, reading lamps and a window that opens fully to let the sea air drift in.

Outdoors - patio garden at the front with low retaining wall and planted border. Bistro table and chairs provided for those morning coffees and evening drinks.

Parking - there is driveway parking accessed from a short private lane. At the entrance to the lane is a stone archway which restricts the width and will not be suitable for some vehicles, city cars and small hatch backs will pass with care but larger saloon cars or SUVs may find they will not fit. Cornish Cottages have driven through in a Hyundai Kona, which has a width of 1.8 metres (1,800mm) and this is about the maximum that can safely pass through. Please check your vehicle dimensions to avoid any disappointment. Alternative parking is on-street and there are many unrestricted roads in the immediate area. If required, you could unload at the bottom of the lane and then relocate the car. There are also several pay and display car parks within a 5 minute walk.
