Primrose Cottage at Pendra Loweth (Cornish for Valley of Gardens) is set within a peaceful development of privately owned holiday homes, nestled in 16 acres of landscaped grounds in a quiet, wooded valley near Maenporth, Falmouth. As an end-terrace property tucked away in one of the quieter parts of the site, it offers a tranquil setting for a family holiday. With no passing traffic and your own allocated parking space just 30 metres away. On-site facilities include a seasonal restaurant and bar, and within just 60 metres you'll find the indoor plunge pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, gym, pool table, solarium, children’s play area, and laundry room.
Inside, Primrose Cottage has a bright and airy open-plan ground floor, thoughtfully designed for sociable living. As you enter through the front door, a handy cloakroom with toilet, handbasin, and heated towel rail is tucked just to one side. The rest of the space opens up into a spacious and comfortable living, dining, and kitchen area.
The kitchen is set to the right, slightly tucked away but still very much part of the main room, allowing the cook to stay connected with the rest of the group. It’s fully equipped with an electric oven and 4-ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, fridge, and a separate freezer. In the dining area, a table and chairs seat four comfortably, and beyond that, the lounge offers soft, comfortable seating and a smart TV with DVD player, ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the coastal paths.
Double patio doors lead from the lounge onto a patio with a picnic bench, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening drink outdoors.
Upstairs are the two bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom features a 5’ king-size bed, bedside tables with lamps, a double wardrobe and dressing table with mirror. The second bedroom is a twin room with two 3' single beds, bedside table and lamp, and a double wardrobe. Hairdryers are provided in both rooms for your convenience.
The family bathroom includes a bath with electric shower over, toilet, handbasin, electric shaver point, and a heated towel rail.
Heating is provided by modern storage radiators downstairs and electric panel heaters upstairs.
Rental includes WiFi, electricity, bedlinen, towels, a cot and high chair, as well as full use of the on-site facilities (excluding the solarium). Also available on site are two tennis courts, and electric vehicle charging points on a first-come, first-served basis — please enquire at reception for usage details.
One allocated parking space is provided just 30 metres from the front door, with further visitor parking available nearby.
Up to two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement at £25 per dog, per week. Please note: the garden area is not enclosed, and dogs must be kept on a lead while moving around the village.
