The quaint fishing village of Polperro, with its narrow streets and charming harbour, is also within easy reach. For beach days, head to the sandy shores of Downderry and Seaton — both around a 20-minute drive. Dartmoor National Park offers rugged scenery and miles of walking trails, while the historic town of Fowey on the south coast makes a lovely day out with its waterfront cafés, independent shops, and river views.
