Truro offers a city fix in the heart of Cornwall. It has everything you'd expect from a modern, well connected city. Great shopping, top entertainment and a blossoming food & drink scene all with a backdrop of historic architecture and welcoming public spaces.

Within the city itself you'll find many restaurants and pubs as well as things to see and do such as the Hall For Cornwall theatre, The Plaza Cinema, the Royal Cornwall Museum and street markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays as well as regular public events. There's also a bowling alley, a handful of public gardens and art galleries. Truro's most recognisable feature is its Gothic-revival Cathedral, rising 76 m (249 ft) above the city at its highest spire. It took 30 years to build, from 1880 to 1910.

It's central location is ideal for exploring Cornwall. A selection of beaches, gardens, walks and other attractions are all accessible by car. The Eden Project, Falmouth, St Ives, Penzance, Newquay and the Lizard Peninsula are all within an hour's drive. During the Summer season, a boat service links Truro and Falmouth enabling visitors to experience the tranquil, wooded creeks of the river Fal.
