Perranuthnoe, West Coast
A pretty cove on the Mounts Bay
Short crisscrossing roads all seem to lead to the beautiful beach that sits at the edge of this sweet little village. At the heart of the village is a 12th century church and the Victoria Inn, which is a well renowned and award winning pub. Towards the beach is a craft centre with art galleries and craft gift shop, as well as two cafes, one of which overlooks the beach.
The South West Coast Path also meanders across the top of the beach, so you can follow the trail over to neighbouring Marazion, where you can pick up a Philip's pasty and soak up the view of St Michael's Mount. On a lovely summers day, Perranuthnoe is full of natural charm and has a sense of being a secluded sea side resort. Peaceful and pretty, the perfect place for a relaxing holiday.
