Sandymouth Beach
Near Bude
Sandymouth is a surfer’s paradise beach but also caters for the casual beach visitor and rock pool enthusiasts. The rock formations, stacks and cliff falls along this stretch of coast make it a fabulous place to explore and learn.
At low tide it's possible to take in the spectacular coastline between Bude and Sandymouth by walking the two miles along the beach. Returning by the coast path makes a pleasant, circular walk. Sandymouth is a National Trust beach and has a large, manned, car park at the top of the cliff. The beach is also served by a seaonal cafe, toilets and surf hire and seasonal lifeguards.
The walk down to the shore leads you through a steep and narrow path.
